Caroline Coates

I am an Artist and Arts Project Manager with over 10 years experience of delivery and management of a range of arts and cultural projects.

I have many years experience of local authority arts development and cultural strategy development. I work in Arts in Education projects and have experience of managing the arts in regeneration and arts in health projects. My work is about engaging with new audiences - because of this I have extensive experience of working with a wide range of partners in a variety of settings. I'm based in the North West and work across the country providing high quality participatory arts tailored to both the client and audiences' needs.

I manage a wide range of cultural projects and as an artist deliver a wide range of visual arts workshops across all ages and abilities. Workshops cover a range of art forms and themes and can be tailored to your group's needs.

I graduated in Illustration from the University of Central Lancashire, specialising in Illustration for Children and Paper Engineering. Most of my work is simply about making people smile.

From my illustration background I have broadened out into many visual art forms and continue to learn new skills and crafts. As well as running workshops and producing illustrations for clients I also create many other pieces and sell at craft fairs and exhibitions across the North West, Yorkshire and beyond!
